S.P. Madrid taps PLDT Enterprise to meet growing financial sector demand

S.P. Madrid, one of the Philippines’ leading technology-enabled credit recovery and financial servicing providers supporting banks and financial institutions, is expanding its nationwide operations through its partnership with PLDT Enterprise.

The collaboration enables S.P. Madrid to leverage PLDT subsidiary Smart Communications’ mobile connectivity to support the growing deployment of field operations while strengthening data security across the enterprise.

With nearly 3,000 employees across the Philippines, Singapore, and the UAE, S.P. Madrid partners with the country’s largest banks to deliver digital, call, field, repossession, and legal recovery services backed by technology and more than two decades of industry experience.

Supporting operations across 18 branches nationwide, the company relies on real-time communication to coordinate teams, improve responsiveness, and maintain service continuity.

As financial institutions navigate rising credit demand, portfolio expansion, and increasing pressure to maintain healthy recovery performance, the need for reliable and secure operational infrastructure has become more critical.

Through this partnership, PLDT Enterprise provides Smart Postpaid Plans bundled with devices, equipping S.P. Madrid’s field teams with dependable connectivity on Smart’s resilient nationwide network.

“Field teams are at the frontlines of service delivery, especially in industries that rely on timely engagement and coordination,” said Blums Pineda, SVP and head of enterprise business group at PLDT Enterprise.

“Through our partnership with S.P. Madrid, we are supporting their operations with mobile solutions that help keep teams connected in real time while laying the foundation for more secure and resilient operations as their needs evolve,” said Pineda.

As S.P. Madrid continues to expand, maintaining secure, reliable communication across its workforce remains essential to sustaining operational efficiency, customer trust, and service quality.

“As financial institutions face increasing pressure to maintain healthy portfolios while protecting customer trust, secure and reliable field connectivity becomes essential,” said Ian Madrid, CEO of S.P. Madrid.

“Through our partnership with PLDT Enterprise, we are strengthening both operational responsiveness and data security—critical foundations as we continue to scale responsibly,” he said.

Beyond mobile connectivity, the partnership opens opportunities for S.P. Madrid to further strengthen operations through a broader suite of solutions from PLDT Enterprise, including mobile device management, messaging platforms, connectivity, multi-cloud, cybersecurity, and data center services.

These capabilities support S.P. Madrid’s evolving needs around scalability, data protection, compliance, and digital resilience.
