Pivotal Software is firming up its presence in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) with a new regional headquarters in Singapore located within the WeWork space at the newly revamped Funan mall.

With a space of 11,250 square feet, this Pivotal office is almost twice the size of its previous one and will enable the company to meet the space demand for its growing APJ team.

Pivotal started in Singapore with fewer than 10 employees in 2013, which has expanded to more than 75 employees. The company plans to provide the full range of resources to its regional clients and build a robust team of 100 employees within the next two years.

“Together with our pair programming agile software development techniques and cloud native platforms such as Pivotal Platform, we’re confident in helping organisations transform to compete and grow in a dynamic digital world,” said Lionel Lim, VP and managing director for APJ at Pivotal.

“With a bigger office space, we can better fit our rapidly growing team and accommodate additional software engineers to foster more knowledge-sharing across parties,” said Lim. “Through this, we can also cultivate young and experienced talents that are well-positioned to revolutionise the burgeoning digital economy here in Singapore and around the region.”
