MMS Group Indonesia picks Workday as its aims to double its workforce

MMS Group Indonesia, which specialises in the energy and property sectors, is deploying Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) to digitally transform its workforce.

This strategic investment comes as MMSGI enters an exciting phase of growth, aiming to double its headcount within the next 12 months.

The company has three main business units—MMS Resources (integrated mining management), MMS Solutions (nickel smelter and renewable energy solution), and MMS Land (property and hospitality).

Headquartered in Jakarta, the group operates across Indonesia, with a market presence in over 13 countries and a workforce of more than 1,000 talented professionals.

As a rapidly expanding business group with a diverse portfolio, MMSGI needed a technology solution that could seamlessly blend standardised HR practices with the organisational agility essential for its continued success.

By leveraging Workday HCM, along with Workday Absence Management, Workday Compensation, and Workday Recruiting, MMSGI intends to enable its people leaders with actionable insights and real-time data to optimise processes and enhance cost efficiency.

Workday’s intuitive interface is also expected to reduce HR administrative loads, allowing employees to focus on more value-adding roles and improving overall engagement.

“Our vision is to continue growing sustainably, and to do so, we need to grow a robust talent pipeline,” said Sendy Greti, CEO of MMS Group Indonesia.

The Workday platform, embedded with AI, will help MMSGI employees collaborate seamlessly from anywhere, driving greater productivity and efficiency.

“Forward-thinking organisations recognise that HR functions as a strategic business partner,” said Pannie Sia, Workday general manager in ASEAN. “Building robust HR practices is imperative for overall business agility and long-term success.”
