Lightstorm readies Cognitive NOC Digital Twin built with Nokia solutions

Singapore-based Lightstorm has created a Cognitive Network Operations Center Digital Twin, leveraging Nokia’s network automation solutions to transform the way telcos and service providers manage and optimise their networks.

The platform is set to launch in the coming months, enhancing network visibility, predictive analytics, and operational efficiency.

Lightstorm tapped Nokia to integrate solutions like Network Services Platform (NSP) and Nokia Digital Operations software including Network Assurance Center, Unified Inventory and provisioning capabilities in order to build a comprehensive real-time monitoring and automation framework.

The Digital Twin utilises Meta’s Llama 3.X to power AI-driven insights, enabling automated fault detection, analysis and resolution and intelligent troubleshooting, ensuring seamless and highly responsive network operations.

“By collaborating with Nokia and its data source from diverse deployed Nokia systems, we have developed a next-generation AI-powered platform that redefines network operations,” said Lalit Chowdhary, chief technology and information officer at Lightstorm.

“This Digital Twin will significantly enhance the customer experience by enabling proactive service assurance, reducing downtime, and improving operational agility and reducing dependency on human knowledge,” he said
