Kieser Australia, a provider of physiotherapy-led strength training programs, is strengthening its finance systems with Oracle NetSuite to support its mission to help people live longer, healthier lives.
With NetSuite, Kieser Australia has been able to take advantage of an integrated business suite to automate financial processes, accelerate reporting, and enhance decision-making as it expands across Australia.
Founded in Switzerland in 1967, Kieser established its first Australian clinic in Melbourne in 2006. Today, Kieser Australia operates 31 clinics nationwide and employs over 800 staff.
To support its growth and ensure more people can benefit from its unique physiotherapy-led strength-training clinics, Kieser needed to replace its multiple accounting files and spreadsheet-based processes that were slowing down financial insights and negatively impacting efficiency.
“We were managing the entire business on Excel spreadsheets and were overwhelmed with manual data entry. Our business was growing fast and finance wasn’t keeping up,” said Dianna Butterworth, co-owner and CFO at Kieser Australia.
Butterworth said NetSuite has helped them simplify operations, unify data, and improve the speed and accuracy of financial processes.
“What’s more, we’re using the AI features in NetSuite to further improve productivity and decision-making as we grow our business and focus on delivering quality care to more Australians,” she added.
With the financial planning and budgeting capabilities in NetSuite, Kieser has been able to boost efficiency and improve insights by consolidating financial operations on a single end-to-end system.
NetSuite ERP and NetSuite Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) have enabled Kieser to automate complex financial tasks, eliminate about 80 different spreadsheets it used to track its finances, and accelerate business processes. By cutting its year-end close time from 25 days to just three, Kieser’s finance team can now focus on supporting clinical teams and national expansion.
“As demand for healthcare continues to rise across Australia, the ability to efficiently scale up and expand operations enables organisations to outgrow competitors and improve access to services,” said Scott Wiltshire, Oracle NetSuite VP and general manager in Australia and New Zealand.
