Real estate company Daiko has implemented the CyberArk Identity Security Platform to manage privileged access across its hybrid cloud and legacy environments in order to reduce risk and boost efficiencies.
Headquartered in Japan, Daikyo has one of the highest cumulative supply of condominiums in the country. The company’s Information Systems Department supports more than 10,000 employees both in Daikyo and its seven subsidiaries.
As part of a planned digital transformation journey incorporating increased use of cloud services to improve user experience and operational efficiency, Daikyo and its subsidiaries has refocused from a limited perimeter-based security approach to a holistic strategy centered on identity security and enforcing Zero Trust.
Daikyo and its subsidiaries implemented CyberArk Privilege Cloud – a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Privileged Access Management solution of the CyberArk Identity Security Platform – to apply intelligent privilege controls and provision secure access to company resources with vaulted credentials or Just-in-Time with zero standing privileges to 200 target systems.
CyberArk Privilege Cloud automates privileged credential rotation and session management for all identities, eliminates manual administrative tasks and safeguards credentials in Daikyo and its subsidiaries’ hybrid environment. CyberArk enables cloud-based privileged access management within a single architecture, aligning with Daikyo’s cloud-first strategy.
“By automating privileged access to our servers and cloud services and streamlining our compliance audit processes, CyberArk has enabled us to substantially reduce the time taken on manual IT tasks,” said Osamu Kobayashi, general manager of Daikyo’s information systems department.
“The increased productivity and improved incident response allow our team to better focus on our growing business operations,” said Kobayashi.
