Belagavi District Central Co-Operative Bank (BDCC Bank), which operates in Karnataka, southwest India, has transformed its data center with the latest-generation Lenovo ThinkSystem servers and storage, powered by Intel Xeon 6 processors.
The modernization has doubled the performance of key banking applications reducing response times by 70%, increased customer satisfaction by 50%, and cut virtualization and software licensing costs by 70%.
This has enabled faster, more efficient digital banking services while lowering operational costs.
With its existing infrastructure approaching end-of-life, BDCC Bank faced growing performance constraints and support challenges that risked affecting the availability and responsiveness of its critical banking applications.
With a three-month deadline to complete a technology refresh while ensuring uninterrupted access to services across its branch network, the bank needed a reliable, high-performance solution that could be implemented quickly with minimal disruption.

The bank observed a 100% performance lift and 70% higher productivity gain. Core banking applications now run twice as fast, enabling employees to process transactions and serve customers more efficiently.
DBCC Bank also reported 70% shorter response times and 50% higher customer satisfaction. Faster, more responsive services have minimized customer waiting times and improved the customer experience across the district.
There was also a 70% reduction in virtualization and software licensing costs. The new infrastructure has improved operational efficiency while significantly lowering IT overheads,

Working with regional IT specialist Master Services, BDCC Bank modernized its primary data center with a highly available, dual-layered infrastructure.
Built-in failover capabilities eliminate single points of failure by automatically shifting workloads during disruptions, while an offsite secondary data center protects critical data.
Master Services completed the migration, delivering the full upgrade in just two months.
