Allkin Singapore, a social service agency supporting more than 24,000 individuals and families annually, has strengthened its data protection and digital resilience with Sophos solutions.
The deployment, managed in partnership with RSM Stone Forest IT (RSM), enables Allkin Singapore to proactively safeguard sensitive information and sustain trust across more than 30 of its service centres in the country.
Every day at Allkin, staff handle sensitive data, including case records, health information, and family court referrals. With data moving between the field, branch sites, and the cloud, a robust digital defence is crucial.
With RSM as Allkin’s technology advisor, Sophos’ solutions were integrated across its hybrid environment, providing seamless protection for servers, endpoints, and cloud systems.
Sophos MDR delivers continuous, real-time threat monitoring and 24/7 expert oversight, detecting and mitigating threats before they can disrupt services or compromise sensitive information. Centralised management via Sophos Central enables unified monitoring and management of endpoints and firewalls.
This partnership has shifted Allkin to a proactive security model, enhancing visibility, compliance, and operational resilience. Allkin’s IT team can now also focus on productivity and innovation, rather than reactive incident management.
“In this age of AI-driven threats where users’ everyday digital interactions expose their organisations to ever increasing risks, IT and security teams need to move away from traditional reactive approaches to cyber protection,” said Evelyn Leong, chief risk officer at Allkin Singapore.
“Technology plays an important role in this transition and for Allkin, enterprise-grade monitoring and protection capabilities have strengthened our ability to manage risks more efficiently,” said Leong.
She said data protection is not just about compliance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) or sector requirements.
“It is a reflection of our agency’s commitment to integrity, accountability and care, ensuring that the families and individuals who turn to us for support can do so with confidence. Safeguarding information is both an operational priority and moral responsibility,” said Leong.
Malis Selamat, managing director, ASEAN, Sophos, said that together with RSM, they are providing Allkin with 24/7 threat monitoring, expert human-led protection, and the confidence to stay ahead of fast-evolving threats, so their teams can remain focused on supporting individuals and families across Singapore.
