Asia Ingredients Group (AIG), a Vietnam-based provider of life science solutions and natural ingredients business, has implemented Agentforce Manufacturing as part of its strategic roadmap to accelerate its digital transformation.
With this, AIG is transforming its core digital infrastructure for commercial operations, enhancing operational productivity, and establishing a flexible technology foundation to support long-term growth.
Serving as a single source of truth, the solution supports the optimization of key processes and enables real-time performance monitoring at AIG, improving forecast accuracy and supporting faster decision-making.
Agentforce Manufacturing also contributes to enhancing cross-functional collaboration and project management by connecting sales, finance, and supplier management within a unified system.
This approach streamlines and automates repetitive but critical manual processes such as price approvals, product sampling, laboratory testing, and trial orders. Automating these tasks not only improves productivity but also allows AIG to shorten response times and enhance customer service quality.
According to AIG, this solution contributes to its ability to scale its business while maintaining agility and a lean operating structure.
“Accounting for nearly a fifth of the country’s industrial production, Vietnam’s food processing industry is a vital engine of the national economy. However, maintaining this scale requires a digital-first approach to navigate increasing supply chain complexity,” said Quy Nguyen, regional VP and country general manager at Salesforce Vietnam.
AIG is in the business of coconut-based processed products, such as Vico Fresh UHT coconut water, desiccated coconut, coconut milk powder, and coconut cream, produced by Asia Coconut Processing JSC (ACP).
In addition, AIG is known for its wide range of purées, fresh fruit juices, and IQF frozen fruits supplied by Mekong Delta Gourmet (MDG).
The group has also invested in producing essential oils and natural fragrances from unique ingredients like cinnamon, star anise, and basil, sourced and processed by Asia Specialty Ingredients (ASI) in Hung Yen.
Moreover, AIG’s subsidiary, Asia Hoa Son, is engaged in cassava processing, specializing in tapioca starch, dried cassava residue, and glucose syrup production in Nghe An.
The project is expected to significantly improve operational efficiency, strengthen internal collaboration, and lay the foundation for AIG to scale flexibly and adapt to market volatility.
This initiative underscores AIG’s strong commitment to technology driven innovation, sustainable growth, and delivering greater value to customers, partners, and the broader ecosystem.
